For those that have inquired, this is how I stretch my hair. These pics are from the last 5 days. I started with my version of a wash and go that I let air dry. Two nights later I two strand twisted it with Elasta QP curl wax. The next morning I unraveled the twists and fluffed and ended up with twist out style. Hope that helps! ✨

Frequently asked questions about MY hair color and dyeing MY natural hair.
How do you still consider yourself natural if you dye your hair?: Dyeing has not altered my texture/curl pattern and I do not dye it with the intent of changing my texture. This is what I choose and if that makes me a little less “team natural” than others, so be it. I’m happy.
What color do you use?: Whatever catches my eye! Ha! I mainly use semi permanent/rinses over my bleached hair. I use mainly Ion Brilliance Red or Orange and Splat Luscious Raspberries.
Did you have to bleach it to get that vibrant color?: Yes, I did. I bleach the new growth about every 3 months. Now that I’m growing my hair out, I plan to stop bleaching. It’s very harsh and drying on MY hair.
How do you keep your hair moisturized?: I use a leave in conditioner every time I style my hair and I deep condition every week. I also use castor oil and coconut oil.
Would you recommend others dyeing and bleaching at home?: No. Ha! Don’t blame me when you have straw on top of your head. It would probably be best to see a professional. But if you’ve done it before, and you’re comfortable, go for it. Have fun. If all fails, it WILL grow back.
Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, I’m happy to answer.
